The Certified Medication Aide is responsible for the safe and accurate administration of prescribed medications to residents and maintaining detailed records of services provided. This role also involves observing and reporting any changes in resident condition to the appropriate staff while ensuring high-quality care aligns with service plans.
Candidates must possess an active CNA or equivalent certification along with First Aid and CPR certifications, and completion of state-approved medication aide training. A minimum of six months of experience in a similar role is preferred, and all state licensing requirements must be met.
