include retrieving medication, counting, and labeling containers under pharmacist supervision, as well as entering patient and medication data into the database. Technicians also receive written prescriptions and verify completeness of information while processing confidential data legally.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and maintain CPR certification, with PTCB certification being preferred. Essential skills include exceptional attention to detail, computer proficiency, strong communication, kindness, resiliency, and teamwork.

As a pharmacy technician, you’ll have an important role in the patient experience at Neighborhood. And, you won’t be working weekends! We’re closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
As a pharmacy technician, kindness and fairness are key as you use your customer service skills in patient interactions. Attention to detail is important to you, so you can accurately dispense prescriptions to patients.
You will be primarily based at our Mattina, 300 Niagara St., Buffalo, NY 14201.
