The psychiatrist will oversee and provide direct patient psychiatric care, utilizing training and critical thinking to deliver compassionate services to children, adolescents, and adults. Key duties also involve facilitating care coordination, ensuring quality care and risk mitigation, and providing clinical collaboration and supervision to psychiatric APP staff.
Candidates must be graduates of a four-year recognized medical school and have completed residency in the appropriate field, possessing a current NYS physician license and Board eligibility/certification. Essential personal attributes include kindness, resiliency, and teamwork, with proficiency in English required and Spanish preferred.

$265,000 - $285,000 annually (based on a full-time, 40 hour work week)
Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position related components

Our FQHC status provides a unique opportunity for tuition reimbursement for Nurse Practitioners, up to $50,000 for a full time commitment and up to $25,000 for a part time commitment. A two-year commitment to serve at a FQHC is required. This tuition reimbursement program requires application and is not guaranteed.
