The Phlebotomist is responsible for providing comprehensive phlebotomy services, including proper venipuncture and special test procedures, while ensuring correct patient accessioning and specimen handling. Additionally, the role involves performing administrative and clerical support duties for the clinic and laboratory front desk.
Candidates should possess at least two years of recent clinical experience as a phlebotomist, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to manage patient reactions to procedures. Current CPR/BLS certification is required, and certification from ASCP or AMT is preferred.
STGi is currently seeking a Phlebotomist to provide services at our Community Based Outpatient Clinic.
The general duty of the Phlebotomist is to provide phlebotomy services as well as administrative/clerical support for the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC).
