The Registered Medication Associate provides high-quality care by assisting residents with medication administration according to state standards and ensures comprehensive care services are met efficiently. This role involves monitoring the medication management program, accurately recording administration, observing for adverse effects, and maintaining safe medication storage and handling, including controlled substances.
Candidates must have successfully completed coursework and examinations to become a certified Resident Care Associate and must maintain continuing education credits as required by the state to keep their RMA certification. Essential requirements include knowledge of safe medication administration, CPR/First Aid certification, understanding of resident confidentiality, and the ability to work flexible hours while demonstrating genuine compassion for seniors.
Full-time; 3pm -11pm or 11pm - 7am (rotating weekends)

The RMA must be able to lift, stoop, carry, turn, and assist high-risk residents, push medication carts and be willing and able to work a flexible work schedule. The RMA must be able to sit, stand, bend, and move continuously during work hours. Must be able to lift and/or carry 50 to 75 pounds. This position is considered a medium risk for exposure to COVID, as it provides direct care to potential COVID-positive residents.
