Job description

We are a well-established and busy private specialty-based optometry practice in Pleasanton, California, seeking a friendly Optometrist to join our team two to three days per week.

Our practice has been long standing in the community providing excellent care and is very focused on providing specialty care such as vision therapy, specialty contact lenses, and sports vision. Our vision therapy program is one of the most active in the bay area, we receive referrals daily. We are looking for someone who is excited about providing white glove patient care in a full-scope optometry setting, with the opportunity to develop or expand special interests in areas such as:

Binocular vision / Vision therapy

Specialty contact lenses

A well-seasoned clinical team in a friendly and fun environment with low staff turnover
Established patient base with room for growth (possible full-time opportunity in the future)
Opportunity to practice full-scope optometry in a private practice setting with state-of-the-art equipment
Flexibility for professional development in specialty care areas

Doctor of Optometry with a clean California license
Excellent communication and clinical skills
Ability to connect with patients to develop long term relationships
Interest in learning one or more of the specialties provided by the practice
