The Certified Medication Aide will dispense prescribed oral, topical, and rectal medications according to physician orders and company policy. This role also involves monitoring residents for adverse reactions, accurately documenting administration, and immediately reporting any errors to the Charge Nurse.
Candidates must hold a current Texas Medication Aide certification and demonstrate competence in medication administration procedures. Essential qualities include clear communication, patience, discipline, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
