include preparing patients for exams, taking radiographs, assisting the dentist during treatment, and maintaining sterile operatories and lab areas in compliance with standards. The role also involves providing oral hygiene education, performing delegated clinical tasks like sealants and polishing, and managing supplies and equipment.
Required qualifications include current certifications for BLS, Radiography (X-Ray), Infection Control/Sterilization, Medical Emergencies, and Dental Assistant certification, along with a current NC Driver’s License. Preferred qualifications include Coronal Polishing Certification, a Dental Assistant Program Diploma, and clinical experience, especially with underserved populations.
