The Medication Aide is responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards, and may supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as directed. Responsibilities also include providing personal hygiene assistance, helping with daily living activities like serving meals, and maintaining patient stability by checking vital signs and recording data.
The primary requirement is to be licensed in Indiana as a Medication Aide and maintain current and unencumbered licensure. The role involves direct patient care, including medication administration and assisting with activities of daily living.
