The role involves accurately and timely performing clinical laboratory tests requested by physicians, ensuring adherence to all laboratory policies and procedures for specimen handling, analysis, and record-keeping. Responsibilities also include maintaining quality control, performing instrument calibrations, verifying test results, and communicating effectively with medical staff.
Candidates must possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related science field and hold national certification (MLS, MLT, CLS, MT) while meeting CLIA requirements for high-complexity testing. Required attributes include being detail-oriented, collaborative, capable of independent work, possessing strong analytical judgment, and demonstrating flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
