The Quality Nurse ensures the organization provides quality patient care by leveraging relationships across teams, patients, and providers, participating in clinical and quality management activities like audits and medical record reviews. Major duties include performing chart audits, interacting with patients for counseling, tracking quality results for continuous improvement, and collaborating with the Director on auditing processes and training.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and hold a current, good-standing Registered Nurse (RN) license. Required experience includes at least two years in specialty pharmacy, quality process, or a patient care role, along with skills in caring clinical patient care and patient education.
Work Experience • Required: 2+ years in specialty pharmacy, quality process, patient care type of role
Caring clinical patient care, CPR+ knowledge, problem solving, patient education / intervention, and excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Self-starter who can work independently with little to no guidance.
Certified Residential Medication Aide/Personal Support Specialist (CRMA/PSS)
