Position Overview

Living Water Clinic-Clinica Agua Viva is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and well-being. We are looking for an individual with strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a patient-centered approach to dental care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients of all ages.
  • Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants, to maintain optimal oral health.
  • Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, such as cavities, gum disease, and dental injuries.
  • Perform restorative procedures, including fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures, to restore the function and aesthetics of patients' teeth.
  • Conduct root canal treatments and extractions when necessary to alleviate dental pain and preserve oral health.
  • Educate patients about proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants, and other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest dental advancements, technologies, and best practices through continuing education.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed dental records, adhering to all privacy and confidentiality regulations.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and hygienic dental environment.
  • Ability to provide dental services at additional clinic sites when operational needs require.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Valid dental license to practice as a Dentist in California.
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in performing a wide range of dental procedures.
  • Proficiency in using dental equipment and technologies, including digital X-rays and intraoral cameras.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and dental staff.
  • Empathetic and patient-centric approach to dental care, ensuring patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits.
