Position Overview

Living Water Clinic is seeking a compassionate and board certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OBGYN) to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine gynecological examinations and screenings to assess women's health and detect potential issues.
  • Provide prenatal care to expectant mothers, monitor fetal development, and ensure a healthy pregnancy journey.
  • Assist with childbirth and provide care during labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of both the mother and newborn.
  • Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions, such as pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, and menstrual disorders.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and laparoscopies, when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, midwives, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest medical advancements and best practices in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Educate patients about reproductive health, family planning options, and preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to all privacy and confidentiality regulations.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients during sensitive or challenging medical situations.
  • Review medical documentation to accurately assign appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes for billing and documentation purposes.

Requirements

  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Valid medical license to practice as an OBGYN in California.
  • Strong knowledge of women's health issues, prenatal care, and gynecological conditions.
  • Proficiency in performing gynecological surgeries and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and effectively collaborate with the healthcare team.
