Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to illness or injury, working within a home health team to focus on the patient's plan of care and personal goals. Responsibilities include assessing patients, establishing therapy goals, assisting with exercises to improve motor skills, suggesting adaptive equipment, assessing fall risks, and educating patients and families.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and hold an active OT license in Florida, along with a minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience, preferably in home healthcare. Required qualifications also include CPR certification and knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
