Home Health Aides provide personal care services enabling clients to safely and comfortably remain in their homes, including assistance with personal tasks like bathing, dressing, eating, grooming, and toileting. Duties also encompass companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transfer assistance, transportation to appointments, and medication reminders.
Candidates must have previous professional experience providing personal care services, a valid driver's license or government-issued photo ID, and be at least 18 years old. Applicants are also required to pass a Clear Level 2 Background Screen from the State of Florida AHCA and possess an active CPR certification from an in-person, hands-on course.
