The Direct Support Professional provides individualized support, care, and advocacy to people with developmental disabilities, assisting them in achieving personal goals and promoting independence in various settings. Essential duties include hands-on support for daily living skills, implementing service plans, and ensuring health and safety.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old, with a valid driver's license having fewer than 6 points. Previous experience in direct care or human services is preferred.
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides individualized support, care, and advocacy to people with developmental disabilities. This position is responsible for assisting individuals in achieving their personal goals, promoting independence, and ensuring health, safety, and overall well-being in home, community, and program settings.
