The Direct Support Professional will provide comprehensive assistance, guidance, and teaching to supported persons across various life areas, including personal care, life skills, and community integration. Essential functions involve direct support, supervision, administering medications, completing required documentation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) and maintain necessary certifications such as Medication Administration Certification, CPR/First Aid, and Mandt Systems training. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, demonstrate physical intervention techniques, and possess a valid driver's license for company vehicle transportation.
