The Phlebotomist will ensure safe, efficient, and accurate specimen collection and handling by verifying patient identity, preparing equipment, and providing a reassuring experience for patients. Key duties also involve maintaining safety standards, supporting clinical staff workflow, and managing supplies and equipment cleanliness.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and hold a required Phlebotomist Certification, along with 3–4 years of experience, preferably in a busy outpatient or clinic setting. Essential qualities include strong knowledge of phlebotomy techniques, accuracy in venipuncture, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
