About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will attend to the medical care of assigned residents, which involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of their care plan. Responsibilities include providing clinical hands-on nursing care, administering medication, assisting with hospitalizations, and documenting health status using a web-based system.

  • If you answered yes to these questions, then Holy Angels may be the right place for you! Looking for a LPN- 1st Shift to start ASAP! Full-time position; biweekly schedule includes every other weekend; 1st Shift 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Basic Job Description/Responsibilities for LPN:
  • Attend to the medical care of assigned residents, which includes:
  • Assessment planning, implementation and evaluation into each resident’s plan of care;
  • Clinical hands-on nursing providing care and treatment of children/adults with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities;
  • Administer prescribed medication and treatments;
  • Assist with hospitalizations and plan of care post hospitalization;
  • Monitor health status and/or needs of all assigned; provide accurate documentation using a web-based record keeping system.
  • Member of the interdisciplinary team

Required Job Skills/Experience

Valid LPN License for NC; CPR & First Aid certification.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience

Nursing experience with individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities and/or acute care. Holy Angels is a place unlike any other. Requirements
