The Direct Support Professional will assist individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in completing everyday living tasks, including housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care such as bathing and dressing, and employment support. Responsibilities also include transporting clients, planning schedules, and maintaining daily documentation in the electronic health system.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and demonstrate basic knowledge of housekeeping, nutrition, and safety protocols. Reliable transportation, a driver's license, current auto insurance, and proficiency or aptitude with EHR systems are mandatory requirements for this entry-level position.
