The Physical Therapy Assistant provides clinical physical therapy treatments for program participants across acute, restorative, and maintenance levels, strictly following the Registered Physical Therapist's assessment and documented care plan. Essential functions include performing delegated treatments, maintaining proper documentation according to regulations, recording ongoing data, and communicating participant progress regularly to the Registered Physical Therapist.
Candidates must be a graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association-approved curriculum and currently licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Colorado. A minimum of one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population is required, along with a valid driver's license and means of transportation.
