The Medical Assistant performs all clinical duties as directed by licensed healthcare providers or delegated by a registered nurse, assisting staff with general patient assessments, rooming patients, and treatments. This role also involves supporting licensed staff with procedures, filing/retrieving medical records, and general office clerical tasks following established clinic standards of care.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and maintain current BLS certification through the American Heart Association before the start date. Additionally, successful completion of the Assessment-Based Recognition (ABR) program for electronic health records order entry is required within 30 days of hire.
