The Physical Therapy Assistant will provide physical therapy and education, assisting the Physical Therapist with resident/patient related activities and direct patient care. The assistant is also responsible for maintaining department records according to facility policy.
Candidates must be a graduate from an APTA-approved physical therapist assistant curriculum and currently licensed in the state, with a preference for at least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility. Successful performance requires understanding medical terminology, strong communication skills, spatial perception, dexterity, and the physical capacity to move residents and equipment.

The Gulf Coast Village Campus is part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization.
Schedule - Monday thru Friday, 8pm to 5pm, 40 hours per week, occasional weekends
$28.15-$35.17 based on experience
