The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the clinical, technical, and administrative functions of the Pediatric Home Respiratory Therapist program, including equipment delivery, patient assessment, and maintaining all necessary clinical and equipment records. This role also involves clinical liaison with physicians and referral sources, overseeing regulatory compliance, and training new staff.
Candidates must possess a valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice and ideally have one year of experience in Pediatric or Neonatal respiratory therapy. Essential functions require the ability to frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds while servicing medical devices in patient homes.
