The CRNA will perform pre-anesthesia assessments, develop anesthesia care plans, and administer anesthetic agents while monitoring patient stability. They are also responsible for managing airway procedures, implementing pain management modalities, and providing post-anesthesia follow-up care.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nurse anesthesia program and hold current state licensure as a CRNA. Additionally, they must possess BLS and ACLS certifications and be certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
