This role involves assisting in providing nursing care to patients in a same-day surgery setting, assuming total responsibility for patient care according to physician orders and center policies. Key duties include monitoring patients, administering ordered treatments, and managing supply utilization and charging.
Candidates must be a graduate of a school of nursing with a current Registered Nurse License and hold current American Heart Association certifications for BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is considered a plus.
Job Title: Pre-Op/PACU RN PRN
Assists in provision of nursing care to patients in a same day surgery setting. Assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician’s orders and centers policies. Monitors and controls use of and charging for supplies utilized in the center.
