The Registered Nurse will direct and be accountable for patient nursing care in the Pre-Operative Assessment and Testing outpatient setting, including organizing and delivering pre-operative patient education. Responsibilities also involve gathering patient histories, performing physicals, and evaluating necessary pre-operative testing results based on anesthesia guidelines.
Candidates must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia and possess a minimum of two years of experience working in a Pre-Operative Setting. Strong skills in multi-tasking, telephone communication, charting, and empathy are required for dealing with surgical patients and families.
Job title: Pre-Operative/PACU RN PRN
Shift: 4 days, 10 hours/day, 0630-1700 PRN
