Description Position Overview

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality resident care and treatments as prescribed by a physician. You will operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, administers patient care, and documents the activity in the patient's medical record in accordance with facility policies and procedures, HIPAA guidelines, and Quality assurance guidelines.

Requirements

Respiratory Therapist Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred Current Respiratory Therapist license/certification in the State of Illinois Knowledge of respiratory care practices, physiology, and pulmonary treatments Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Strong communication and teamwork skills Minimum of 1 year of long-term care experience preferred Keywords: Respiratory Therapist, Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, Geriatric Care, Pulmonary Care
