The Physical Therapist is responsible for developing and administering physical therapy treatment programs aimed at improving patient function, reducing pain, preventing disabilities, and promoting overall health and well-being. This includes providing skilled treatment plans based on physician orders, establishing diagnoses, setting patient goals, and maintaining confidential records.
Candidates must be a graduate of an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy and possess a current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license or be license eligible, with CPR certification required. Outpatient experience is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
