The Respiratory Therapist will provide specialized cardiopulmonary care, administering treatments ranging from breathing techniques and nebulizer treatments to complex ventilator management and external ventilation support. Responsibilities include continuous assessment of cardiopulmonary conditions, developing care plans, and communicating findings to physicians and nursing staff.
Candidates must have graduated from an approved Respiratory Therapy school and possess one year of recent clinical experience in Respiratory Care upon hire. Required credentials include a Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner license, Registered Respiratory Therapist status, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and obtaining Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months.
