The role involves empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve personal goals, including budgeting, nutrition, and community involvement, while building meaningful connections as a mentor and advocate. Responsibilities also include supporting daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication assistance, personal care, and accompanying participants on outings.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license for at least one year without restrictions, access to a registered vehicle for transporting individuals during shifts, and proof of auto insurance are mandatory requirements.
