An Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients in the acute medical setting, assisting them in reaching their highest level of independence in daily activities. They also make recommendations for the next level of care and adaptive equipment needed.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, with an active Missouri licensure for Occupational Therapy required. No prior experience is necessary, but good clinical expertise and communication skills are essential.
