Position Summary
In this role, you will advocate for designated clients. Participate as a team member in the delivery of addictions treatment services to clients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Promote the treatment concepts and work cooperatively with all staff to implement treatment services.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to drive a multi-passenger vehicle in a variety of weather conditions including rain and snow.
Excellent written and oral communication skills,
Ability to quickly establish rapport,
Skilled in behavior management techniques.
Initiative-taker with ability to work independently and with a team,
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements,
Must have own transportation (designated positions)

Responsibilities
1.
Work prescribed hours and be available to work additional hours when necessary.
Overtime may be required.
2.
Transport clients to and from agency, support group or other activities as determined necessary in a responsible and professional manner.
3.
Conduct home or community-based visits with clients, as specified in program guidelines to help and support clients, to verify progress of clients and to actively engage clients in the treatment process.
4.
Report and document significant findings of each client as they relate to development and progress or lack of progress towards individualized treatment goals.

5.
Accompany clients as an advocate to places such as courts, medical clinic, public assistance office or other mental health services as recommended.
6.
Actively participate in client’s graduation celebration.
7.
Remain active as advocate and when possible, engages in case management planning when client is transferred to another level of care such as inpatient chemical dependency or psychiatric services.
8.
Provide referral and assistance for client’s immediate needs such as housing, food, or other risks of potential harm.
9.
Work closely with other outreach workers to share duties as needed and communicate exceptional circumstances of each client when appropriate to insure consistency of care in times of absence.
10.
Complete documentation according to the Agency's policies and procedures manual concerning client service record and other reporting as directed.
11.
Serve as a member of the treatment team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
12.
Understand and comply with all the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
13.
Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
14.
Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
Schedule (40 hours per week) • Hours
Monday -
Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm or 10:00am - 7:30pm (2 days early shift & 2 days mid shift to cover toxicology drop)
Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Compensation & Rewards • Staring Base Pay
(pay is based on education, experience, and credentials)
High School/GED - $18.43 per hour
Associates’ - $19.37 per hour
Bachelor’s - $20.25 per hour
