Join our dedicated team at Methodist University Hospital's Cardiac and Medical Stepdown Unit (7 Shorb). This unit specializes in providing exceptional care to adult patients with cardiac conditions, including such things as open heart surgeries, pre and post-CABG, and pre and post-heart catheterizations with interventions. Our Medical side includes an additional opportunity to work with patients having undergone ENT surgeries. What you will do
Conducts comprehensive nursing assessments to determine appropriate interventions and develop individualized care plans.
Provides patient and family education on care plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
Develops, implements, and adjusts personalized patient care plans based on ongoing clinical assessments.
Administers medications safely, following best practices in medication management.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.

Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, a valid Tennessee RN license, and BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Preference is given to candidates with a Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience.
