The Medical Office Specialist is responsible for front desk operations, including patient registration, check-in, co-pay collection, scheduling, billing, and scanning records into the EMR. Duties also involve fulfilling patient care support, clerical tasks like managing records and forms, and organizational responsibilities such as compiling end-of-day reports.
Candidates must possess knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, computer systems, and customer service principles, along with medical terminology. A minimum of one year of medical experience is preferred, and the role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
