About the role

They must also advise pet owners on care, perform necessary surgeries, prescribe medication, and provide counsel on end-of-life care.

Practice Monmouth Small Animal Hospital began in 1989.

In 2007, we found that our ever-growing business needed to be expanded, so we had a major remodel done.

We doubled the size of our practice, including 3 exam rooms, a large lobby, and a surgery suite with an attached treatment/pre-op/post-op room.

Today, our full-service veterinary team cares for a range of small animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and beyond.

Position Purpose Our practice is excited to add another veterinarian to our team so we can continue to grow!

We are happy to offer lots of opportunities to doctors to continually enhance your skills and develop professionally.

We pride ourselves on offering top-quality recommendations and educating our clients to be empowered pet owners.

We encourage doctors of all experience levels to apply and will gladly mentor new grads.

If you are interested in surgery, reproduction, dentistry, and client communication, this is the place for you!

If you like surgery but feel you need more mentorship, we do TONS of soft tissue surgery, C-sections and orthopedic surgeries (want special training in TPLO?!) We see a diverse range of medical cases including theriogenology; we're one of the only reproduction specialists in the area.

We are equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, and laser therapy; and are willing to get any equipment that you need if we don't already have it.
