Job description

Performs a variety of routine and complex laboratory procedures under\nsupervision using standard and specialized techniques, instrumentation and\nequipment on a wide variety of biological specimens to assist the physician in\nthe diagnosis and treatment of patients. Exercises professional judgment in\norder to recognize, prioritize, and facilitate varying test requests and\nworkload in an efficient manner. Assumes responsibility and accountability for\naccuracy of procedures performed.\n\nBachelor’s degree in related field OR Associate’s degree in related field with 4\nyears of laboratory experience required\n\nThis applicant must be ASCP or AMT certified (MLS or MT - may consider a MLT)\n\nSchedule:\n\n * Full-time; 40 hours per week\n * 2pm-10:30pm \n * Works every other weekend plus holiday rotation
