The Vascular Access RN assesses, plans, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for NICU, pediatric, and adult patients, focusing heavily on complex vascular access procedures and coordination of care with the healthcare team. Responsibilities include placing complex peripheral IV lines, PICCs, and Midlines, as well as managing and troubleshooting complications related to all venous access devices.
Required qualifications include an active MN Registered Nurse (RN) License and Basic Life Support certification, along with demonstrated experience in Vascular Access and traditional PIV placement across all age groups, including ultrasound-guided techniques. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and national certification in Vascular Access.

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract.
