The PRN Licensed Outpatient Program Therapist performs social services and psychotherapy functions, assisting patients with biopsychosocial needs through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals, couples, families, and groups. This includes providing consultation, psycho-education, specialized clinical psychotherapy services, crisis intervention, and referrals.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a clinical related mental health field, along with a minimum of two years of experience in behavioral health, including direct experience in various therapy modalities and crisis intervention. An Arizona State license (LAC, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW) is required, and CPR/management of aggressive behavior training must be completed within 30 days of employment.
Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic Outpatient Therapist - PRN to work in a Group therapy setting. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with the following groups: The PRN Licensed Outpatient Program Therapist performs social services and psychotherapy functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while providing assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy treatment of individuals, couples, families, and groups to assist patient’s in achieving their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, psycho-education, complete specialized clinical psychotherapy services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Counseling, Social Work, or a clinical related mental health field.
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in behavioral health, with direct experience in family, group, and individual therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; strong clinical assessment skills preferred.
