The primary duties involve performing diagnostic-quality CT imaging procedures to improve patient care while consistently practicing radiation safety and dose reduction techniques. Additionally, the technologist must educate patients on procedures and safety protocols, ensure exam accuracy, and handle departmental communication and documentation.
Candidates must possess an Associate degree from an accredited radiology technology school and be registered by the ARRT, holding a Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License. BLS certification is required to be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer before providing direct patient care.
