The Physician is responsible for providing quality medical services, engaging in the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of disease, and rendering medical treatment consistent with accepted professional standards of care. This role also involves completing accurate medical records, participating in after-hours call coverage, and enhancing clinical skills through continuing medical education.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and have successfully completed residency, along with being Board Certified or Board Eligible. Required credentials include being licensed to practice medicine in the state of employment, holding a Controlled Substance License, and possessing a Drug Enforcement Agency Number.
