The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide professional patient care, including collecting patient data and participating in treatment planning for children and adolescents in a specialized neuropsychiatric unit. Responsibilities also include administering prescribed medications and medical treatments, and documenting patient progress for the treatment team.
Candidates must graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold current Licensed Practical Nurse registration in the State of Maryland, or be eligible to obtain it by the hire date. LPNs are required to work every other weekend, and experience in psychiatric nursing is preferred.

Our Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatric Unit is a specialized inpatient unit for the psychiatric evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of children and adolescents with co-occurring developmental and psychiatric disorders. This 14-bed unit is the only one of its kind in Maryland, and offers a behavioral approach to care for these dually diagnosed children and adolescents.
