The Physical Therapist I is responsible for providing physical therapy assessments and treatments to patients, helping them rebuild or maintain physical well-being, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. Daily tasks include performing initial evaluations, developing and updating individualized plans of care, and providing direct treatments while meeting productivity standards.
Candidates must possess a California Physical Therapist License and current BLS CPR certification through the American Heart Association. Successful applicants will demonstrate good interpersonal skills and competent working knowledge of standard physical therapy practices, procedures, and equipment.

Accurately identifies patient's functional deficits/dysfunction through review of the medical record, through observation of the patient, through information obtained from the patient/family, and through manual muscle testing, range of motion testing, postural analysis, functional analysis and other physical therapy assessment techniques. Accurately interprets the physician's order.
Discussion, Feedback, Chart Review, Observation.
Effectively communicates regularly with other members of the healthcare team regarding goals, progress and rehab potential. Works as a collaborative member of the treatment team. Attends any necessary and appropriate patient care meetings, such as mini rounds, weekly patient care conference, weekly NICU discharge meetings, etc.
