The Registered Nurse will facilitate communication and collaboration with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Responsibilities include promoting optimal patient health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process in accordance with standards and the State Nurse Practice Act.

Acute care is at the heart of what we do. St. Catherine Hospital Dodge City provides health services that include diagnostics and interventional cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation. We combine patient-centered care with modern technology and medical expertise to treat a wide range of medical conditions. Job Summary and Responsibilities Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus!

Our patient population includes many industrial, farming and motor vehicle accidents. As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for: Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Job Requirements In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified nursing candidates will need the following: Education Requirements Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs Experience Requirements One year RN ED experience required Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty Licenses/Certification Requirements RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact Physical Requirements Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly) New Grads: We encourage you to consider our Nurse Residency Program designed for new graduate nurses. Requirements

Candidates must have an Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred) and at least one year of RN Emergency Department experience, along with a current RN license. Applicants should be compassionate, reliable, energetic, and team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
