The role involves providing care according to the established treatment and patient care plans to determine palliative care eligibility and establishing ongoing care plans based on client assessments. Responsibilities also include reporting patient condition changes, providing education and counseling to clients and caregivers, and coordinating services with other disciplines.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and hold a Master's degree in nursing, along with current state licensure. A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required, as is maintaining current CPR certification, strong critical thinking skills, and a valid driver's license.
