The Echo Sonographer performs diagnostic echocardiography procedures, operating ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data while ensuring patient comfort. Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Radiologic Technologist II, you will performs all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures at a technical level not requiring supervision to technical detail.

Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.

Assumes responsibility for specific radiographic procedures, angiography or cardiac cath procedures, CT or MRI procedures, and or mammography procedures.

Every day you will you will be expected to Demonstrate proficiency and competence in all aspects of diagnostic radiology, fluoroscopy, surgery exams, and other applicable modality.

Demonstrate competence in filming, processing, quality control.

Able to teach students and new technologists.

Job Requirements Required Diagnostic technologist with 2 years of work experience in diagnostic radiology and competence in one additional modalities (CT MRI Angio Cardiac Cath Ultrasound or Mammography) Or: Diagnostic technologist with 5 years of work experience in diagnostic radiology.

Must be able to demonstrate competence in all diagnostic fluoroscopic and surgical radiography procedures.

Registered ARRT CRT Certification Current CPR-AHA Certification RADTECH

Requirements

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and be a graduate of an accredited Sonography institution, credentialed in Echocardiography Sonography upon hire. Registration must be obtained within 12 months, and Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is required upon hire.
