The role involves developing and implementing individualized therapy programs to enhance communication, cognitive function, and swallowing for pediatric patients through comprehensive assessments and monitoring progress. Responsibilities also include collaborating with healthcare teams, educating families, and consulting with physicians for effective care coordination.
Candidates must possess a current Georgia license as a Speech Language Pathologist or the ability to obtain one, and must be familiar with treating pediatric patients experiencing speech, language, and feeding/swallowing issues. Recent graduates and experienced professionals are encouraged to apply.
Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to improve communication, cognitive function, and swallowing for patients Perform comprehensive assessments using subjective evaluations and objective tests to determine patient needs and treatment goals Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes to ensure optimal rehabilitation results Collaborate with healthcare teams, educate patients and families, and consult with physicians to support effective treatment and care coordination
Current Georgia license as a Speech Language Pathologist or ability to obtain license Recent graduates and experienced Speech Language Pathologists encouraged to apply Must be familiar with treating pediatric patients with speech, language, and feeding/swallowing concerns.
Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 with additional compensation opportunities for certifications and location differentials.
