The Inpatient Social Worker is responsible for delivering quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to patients and their families within a behavioral health facility. Key duties include conducting psychosocial assessments, providing various therapies, participating in treatment teams, and ensuring initial discharge plans are formulated promptly.

The Inpatient Social Worker will be responsible for providing quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to patients and their families. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develops and maintains effective working relationships with Admissions, the Buisness Office, Physicians, and Nursing Staff. Conducts psychosocial assessments to document history and identify preliminary issues for treatment in a timely manner. Provides groups and family process-oriented therapies as well as conducts educational groups for patients and family members. Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and patient safety Inital discharge plan formulated and noted on psychosocial within 72 hours of admission.
