The Medical Imaging Specialist supports patient care by executing specific technical tasks and support functions as delegated by a licensed provider, primarily performing diagnostic quality imaging procedures for pediatric populations. Job

Summary: The Medical Imaging Specialist (MIS) is an unlicensed multi-skilled worker who supports patient care by performing specific technical tasks and support functions as delegated by a licensed provider. The care provided by the MIS is supervised by a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Working within a team environment and can manage multiple priorities in a timely manner are required skills.

Qualifications

Education High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required) Program Graduate of a patient care program (CNA, MA, or EMT) (preferred) Licenses and Certifications BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position (required) MA - Medical Assistant (preferred) Other - Other CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred) Other - Other EMT- Emergency Medical Technician (preferred) Work Experience Minimum six (6) months Pediatric experience (preferred) Skills and Abilities Work within a team environment and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner are required skills. Bilingual Skills Preferred. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma/G.E.D. and be able to work effectively within a team while managing multiple priorities in a timely manner. Preferred qualifications include graduation from a patient care program (CNA, MA, or EMT) and a minimum of six months of pediatric experience.
