The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs specialized invasive and non-invasive diagnostic radiologic procedures in collaboration with physicians and the radiology team. They operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain optimal quality radiographs for interpretation by physicians.
Candidates must complete an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and hold certification as a Radiographer by the ARRT. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required, along with the ability to function with limited supervision.
